The Secret of inner Strength

This week‘s recommended book is one I am reading right now – The Secret of inner Strength by Chuck Norris.

What I love about his story is that it shows how even Chuck had to work hard to ‘become Chuck‘ – it’s the struggles we overcome that will shape our character and bring us closer to being our ‘true Selves’.

  • Chuck also started studying Korean Martial Arts as an adult – I started reading his book just as we were training for our Taekwondo black belt!
  • Chuck is featured as the main baddie in Bruce Lee’s self-directed Way of the Dragon – one of our favourite martial arts films of all time.
