In staying with the theme, below are a few captures of the incredible sunset we got to experience at the start of last May’s DancEscapade weekend in Crete.

This one had a heart. Literally.

And it brought all of us joy.

We were dancing and cheering.

Do you recognize that, feeling elated, and even a bit emotional when witnessing a particularly gorgeous sunset, or a sunrise, or another display of visual beauty in nature?

I do.

It makes me wonder sometimes, why it is that moments like these can have such a profound effect on us, humans.

They happen, out there, all around us.

Whether we are present to experience them or not.
